A benefit for Safe Harbor Recovery Center called “Hungry for Hope” will be held on the evening of Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Please join them as they Harvest Hope for the opioid crisis in the Seacoast under the Harvest Moon at One Harbour Place in Portsmouth, NH. Numerous local restaurants, wine and beer vendors, and community sponsors are coming together to raise money for Safe Harbor Recovery Center which is a community resource that is open to all concerned with alcohol and drug addiction.
Restaurants that will be at this event with their delicious food includes: Row 34, Cava, Black Trumpet, Moxy, The Black Birch, Atlantic Grill, Louie’s, STREET, Stages at One Washington and so many more. Smuttynose, Peak Organic, Great Rhythm and Rising Tide beer distributors will be there as well. They will also have wine from many wine distributors and many local businesses donating their goods, services and time.
The hope is that this event may demonstrate a new way of thinking about a solution for the drug epidemic and show how a community can work together to make a dent in the heartbreaking problem by raising awareness and providing helpful resources for recovering addicts and their friends and families.
